September doesn't seem like so very long ago. But just look at how these little goobers have grown.
Anna's grown probably six inches, at least. Her baby teeth started falling out and her smile's gone all gappy. She went from barely starting to read to reading at a second grade level. She switched to a charter school and started wearing uniforms. She started a karate class. She made a lot of new friends.
This summer she wants to learn how to swim, have lots of fun, read lots of Magic Treehouse books, and learn how to braid.
Ellery grew some, too. She learmed to write her name and recognize all the letters. She lost her tonsils and adnoids. She got tubes in her ears. She talks and talks and talks now. She no longer needs speech therapy.
This summer she wants to go to her friend's house, swim in a swimming pool, and learn how to take pictures.
Now I better go get started on some celebratory chocolate chip muffins.
