So, I generally have three types of projects going at a time: a sewing room project, a sitting on the couch watching TV project, and an out and about project. This has been my out and about project for the past month and a half or so. I started it one night when I was going by myself to see my husband perform in Spamalot. I didn't want to sit there just staring into space while I waited for the show to start, during intermission, and while I waited for him to be ready to go afterward. So, before the babysitters arrived, I gathered yarn, pattern and needles and threw them all into a bag. I've been dragging it all over town ever since- waiting rooms, church and most especially the school pickup lane. And even though I was only knitting a row or two at a time, those rows added up.
I am deeply in love with this shade of green- especially when it's being worn by my little dark-eyed girl. I really like the pattern, as well. Full details can be found on Ravelry. I'm considering making the adult version for myself next. Only if I can find a color I love as much as this one.
